Just some sketches based on the book "The Bell Jar". I wanted to do some drawings of the character based on how I felt she would look as she began her decent into her mental illness. The character of the book was meant to be auto-buographical of the author, but I didn't want to do that so instead I did them based on what I felt she would have looked like as a character.
These are just very rough sketch, there is a lot more that needs to be done to them.

ooh, that's so cool Whit! I really hope you finish it. I definitely see how this corresponds to the book, and you captured the grittiness of it very well.
