The New Yorker

This is a sketch of the project I am doing in my intro to illustration class. We have to do a cover page for the New Yorker about a topic that interests us. He wants it to be kinda shocking as well so I decided to do it on little girls not dressing their age anymore, which is something that really does upset me :-( my child will never dress like that!

lol, those little girls kind of remind me of you, me, and Jess if we were skanky little girls XD Jess is the right one, I'm the middle one, and you're the one on the left, haha.

Did you say earlier that you kind of based the drawing on the Beatle's Abbey Road (or...whatever it is called), or no? Either way, it also reminds me of that, in a good way :). I think you chose an interesting topic to illustrate, all in all, and I hope you do good on your assignment ^_^
